Kitchen Gloves

Call me an old lady or an ahjumma (older married woman in Korean) but these gloves are the bomb. During our trip to SF this weekend we got a bit lost in Chinatown frantically looking for a decent authentic dim sum restaurant to satisfy our hungry stomachs. As some of us were on our iphones searching for a place to devour our lunch, I walked into a small Chinese store that sold everything from karaoke dvd's to hats to kitchen appliances. My hands are really small and petite so once I saw these size small kitchen gloves I immediately purchased these for an awesome price of $1.99. My favorite part about these are that they fit like a glove so you feel like you have control over anything you grab, even in soapy water. I don't know what it is but when it comes to kitchen ware and appliances, I get so excited, what's happening to me...

San Francisco with Friends

We had two of our good friends visit us over the weekend. They recently moved back from Nashville, Tennessee and made a trip out to see us before anything. It's definitely really hard as you get older to have good friends that you can share personal struggles with. Thank you God for their friendship!

We drove up to San Francisco and did some touristy things, made it just in time for last call dim sum, and did some shopping at my husbands favorite place, UNIQLO where we all scored on jeans.

can you spot our two men in this photo?

No.6 Daily

I love it when I am blog surfing and find one that I absolutely love. That's what happened when I came across No.6 Daily. They are a shop located in Little Italy and carry European and American vintage along with pieces done by independent contemporary designers. Everything that they carry is just beautiful and clearly defines my taste and view of what fashion should be. I particularly fell in love with the cut of the garments, they are just perfect and ideal. Keep reading to see for yourself.

A Bridal Shower

One of the many reasons I took a trip back to my hometown was to host my sister's (one of two) bridal shower. She will be getting married this May and time is sure passing so quickly. Here are some snap shots I was able to get of that day.

yummy, yummy rosé...
