Rusticity and Organic-ness

Stumbled upon this lovely site that documents the craft of individuals in their element and work space. Homegrown Swedes technique focuses on the movement of the individuals they are filming.

Here are two of the many favorites from their list of short videos.

Love the rusticity and organic-ness of the way they bake.

I am going to make this someday...

Reminds me that any work requires dedication and skill, which are things that can be learned and perfected with time and patience by anyone.

Happy Monday

Just got back this past Saturday from two weeks spent at my family's home back down in Southern California and I miss everyone already. One of the things my husband and I missed right when we got back was cha2o's jasmine milk tea, mmMmm, we literally almost had it every other day sometimes even twice a day! Until the next time we go back down I hope Watsonville will be kind to all my spontaneous cravings, starting with a chocolate donut with vanilla custard...

The Fisher-Man

This man and his wife are awesome. They love fish, playing instruments, and singing.

A Toy Story

My Husband shared this with me last night and we both just loved the idea and enjoyed the whole article. Had to share this with you all.

"Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti’s project Toy Stories compiles photos of children from around the world with their prized possesions—their toys. "
-Amanda Gorence

Here are some of my favorites.

Despite the fact that it's Monday and many of you have to go back to work, cheer up, you've been given another day to live, be happy!

Here's some up beat music to help you get through the day.
