I have been doing a lot of brainstorming and researching for what would be next for my etsy store Micah Olivet. I then came across a bright red fabric at a goodwill store when I went out for some inspiration. Right then I immediately thought red, red, RED! Here are some inpirations I gathered for my next set of projects.

For those working from home have the advantage of personalizing their workplace and just doing whatever they want with their space. I gratefully get this privilege and love it. My personal workplace is a work in progress however, when I do have the time and day to just focus on it, I will do another post titled My Play Place, because honestly it's where I just get to have fun and do what I love doing.
Hello All! I hope you enjoyed guest blogger (and my sister) Stephanie Chung last week. I checked in on every post and thought she did a great job for her first time as a blogger. Thanks for the reads and your time! As for my trip to Japan, it was a trip that happened so fast and slow at the same time. It's weird and amazing that we started off the new year in Tokyo but nonetheless the experience was wonderful. There are several things that I loved and will miss about Tokyo until the next time we go back to visit. There are so many photos I want to share and would be breaking them down into sections per post. Here are a few photos from our trip to Chiba, enjoy.
I absolutely love fire places. They warm up a cold home and they set a nice ambience to any room. The one posted below is from my parent's home. I love the fact that it's surrounded by brick and there are strategically place open spaces in between the bricks to let out the warm air. You can also sit right in front of the fire without getting burned!
I also love outdoor fire pits like this one (photo courtesy of pinterest).
It was so much fun guest blogging this week. I hope you all enjoyed the posts as much as I did. Thank you to my sister, Priscilla for giving me this opportunity!
My grandpa is the one who does all the gardening around the house. I would say, he has the golden thumb. Any plant that I receive or buy, I usually hand it to my grandpa to take care of it. That way I know the plant has a better chance of surviving. Here are a few photos of my grandpa's work.
A display of potted plants (most are succulent plants)
A few rows of romaine lettuce growing
One of my favorites, a lemon tree.
A small tangerine tree
and more potted plants!
Aren't they beautiful? I hope I have my own home garden one day.
